You are allowed to walk from the entrance, through the Siq to the clearing that holds &#8220;The Treasury&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>They lined the walk with hundres of luminaries.<\/p>\n<p>At The Treasury they had hundreds more luminaries, some beduoin musicians and they served tea.<\/p>\n<p>It was quite striking.<\/p>\n<p>I took some <a title=\"night shots\" href=\"http:\/\/www.cairochronicles.com\/jack\/photos\/PetraByNight\">photos<\/a>. Most of these are at ISO800 with 4-to-6 second exposures at f4.0 (the largest aperature for this lens).<\/p>\n<p>Big thanks to our traveling companion C.D. for loaning me his tripod.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We took the evening walk at Petra.
