It has been in the mid- to high- 90Fs lately. That is warm for Cairo for this time of year.<\/li>\n<li><strong>THE BLACK CLOUD <\/strong>(stories <a title=\"ugh\" href=\"http:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/article.php?id=061025154932.f4vtr7nv&#038;show_article=1\">here <\/a>and <a title=\"pee-yew\" href=\"http:\/\/www.terradaily.com\/reports\/Cairo_tries_to_escape_life_under_a_black_cloud_999.html\">here<\/a>). A foul blend of burning smoke from rice fields, stench from burning garbage, dust from the desert and pollution from some 1.6 <em>million <\/em>cars, most of which burn leaded gas.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>These combine to make opening the windows this time of year a bad idea. In addition to the potential health ramifications, the air just smells burnt and nasty.<\/p>\n<p>But it is only around 75F here today, there is a cooling NW breeze blowing, the skies are blue with wispy white clouds.<\/p>\n<p>A good air day.
