We went through &#8220;the bounty&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>They brought pork products. A whole Smithfield ham, and 10 pounds of <a title=\"sweet, sweet sausage\" href=\"http:\/\/www.gasparssausage.com\/gaschour.html\">chourico<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The chourico, I knew about, because I ordered it and had it sent to their house.<\/p>\n<p>The ham was a STUNNING surprise. I hugged it to my chest and went to my happy place for a few minutes. I got misty.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>I thought to myself &#8220;this is unbeatable&#8221;.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Then the 2nd couple arrived.<\/p>\n<p>They brought a digital picture frame. Full of photos. From various parties that we have missed over the last 2 years. Including the &#8220;re-wedding&#8221; of our friends, the <span style=\"font-style: italic\">other <\/span>couple that arrived earlier.<\/p>\n<p>I was speechless and moved to tears.<\/p>\n<p>When those 2 sets of guests left, a 3rd set arrived.<\/p>\n<p>They brought seemingly simple stuff that was so appreciated.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Salami (<em>YEA! MORE PORK<\/em>)<\/li>\n<li>Crossword puzzle magazines<\/li>\n<li>Soduku magazines<\/li>\n<li><strong>MOTORCYCLE magazines<\/strong>. <em>droool<\/em><\/li>\n<li>yarn and knitting patterns<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Silly, inconsequential stuff that had us giggling like children on christmas morning.<\/p>\n<p>I am amazed, and so grateful, for everyone&#8217;s thoughtfulness.<\/p>\n<p>Thank you all.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We recently had 2 couples staying with us, at the same time.
